Call for Papers: International Conference on Economic and Financial Modeling (ICEFMod 2025)
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite submissions for the upcoming International Conference on Economic and Financial Modeling (ICEFMod 2025, https://icefmod.site), co-organized by SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Kozminski University, and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics. The conference aims to bring together academics, industry practitioners, and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge quantitative methods and their applications in understanding financial markets, institutions, and economic systems. The ICEFMod 2025 conference will be a hybrid event. It will include both on-site and online sessions. The conference will take place on September 19, 2025 at SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw, Poland.

Special Panel on the Ukrainian Economy and the Impact of the War
This year’s conference will feature a special panel dedicated to research on the Ukrainian economy and the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine on Ukraine and neighboring countries. We invite papers that analyze the war’s economic consequences, financial stability, trade disruptions, reconstruction challenges, and broader geopolitical effects. Selected papers from this panel will be invited for submission to a special issue of the Eastern European Economics journal (https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/meee20).
The journals Economic Modeling (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/economic-modelling) and Econometric Research in Finance (https://www.erfin.org) also invite conference participants to submit their papers.
Submissions from both junior and senior researchers are encouraged. Both online and in-person sessions are planned to be conducted.
